George Monbiot is one of the Guardian's resident demagogues, a man with admirably progressive political views, but, alas, whose grasp of modern science (complexities, sociology, and practice) leaves much to be desired. is there anything quite as irritating as one person who doesn't know science railing against others for the (self)same sin? their misconceptions vary only in degree of egregiousness.
