Apparently the state of Maine is unable to allow insurance companies to view the driving record of anyone with a hyphenated last name. Go figure.

The system insurance companies are supposed to use returns the equivalent of "no such user", though employees of the bureau of motor vehicles are able to enter the name, hyphen included, and retrieve the data. It appears that the records are stored in their database with hyphens, but their method of retrieving them for insurance companies can't handle it, and they haven't figured out how to provide a more useful error message.
This guy is really infuriating . I'd like to show him what bicyclist terrorism could really be. *finds his address*
